This English text is for information. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring
In brief
- Website: we aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA on nelkenshift.click.
- Studio: tram/metro access; no passenger lift — discuss needs via contact before booking.
- Reports: [email protected] — we respond within 2 business days.
- Covers our site, not external maps or app store pages.
1. Scope
Nelkenshift B.V. publishes this statement for nelkenshift.click, the online home of our recording studio at Govert Flinckstraat 142 in De Pijp, Amsterdam. Physical rooms (live 42 m², booth 8 m², control 14 m²) are by appointment; directions: Tram 4 and 12: stop Stadhouderskade, about 6 minutes on foot via Govert Flinckstraat. Metro 52: De Pijp stop, about 8 minutes on foot. No private parking; paid street parking (APCOA zones)..
It aligns with European accessibility rules for services and Dutch rules for business websites. Embedded maps or app download links are outside our control.
2. Goal and standard
Visitors should read pages, operate the menu by keyboard, complete the contact form with assistive tech and compare rates on services. We design toward Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA where our content allows.
We do not guarantee perfect conformance at every moment; we retest after major releases. See privacy policy and cookie policy.
3. Website measures
- Logical headings, skip link to main content and landmark regions (
main, navigation). - Visible focus, colour contrast in our stylesheet; no essential information by colour alone.
- Alt text on studio photos from our spec; decorative items without redundant alt.
- Form labels tied to fields; errors in text as well as visual cues.
- Cookie banner usable with Escape/Tab; accept and reject are equally visible.
- Language attributes per page (nl/en) plus a language switch in the header.
Fonts are self-hosted via TransIP B.V.; no Google Fonts CDN.
4. Known limitations
Imagery is documentary AI photography; some scenes are less meaningful to screen readers than real reportage. Quote PDFs or stems sent by email are not routinely tested for PDF/UA.
The map link points to OpenStreetMap; accessibility follows that service. Older browsers may lack modern CSS (grid, clamp).
Physical access: street-level entrance in a townhouse; no wheelchair lift. Call 020 244 8917 to discuss what is feasible within Monday–Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00, Sunday by appointment only..
5. Feedback and disputes
Email [email protected] with URL, browser/assistive tech and a short description. We acknowledge and reply within 2 business days with a fix, timeline or workaround.
If we cannot resolve it, consumers may contact the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets. Data processing: privacy policy.
6. Maintenance
We run manual checks (keyboard, 200% zoom, contrast) and ship fixes in the next deploy. Last content review: 15 October 2026. Contract questions: terms and conditions; processor role: data processing agreement. Practical session info: FAQ and guides.
